Grp 4 Outing @ Pasir Ris

Cool!! Grp 4 jus had our grp outing!! It was fun! Yet WET!! haha.. Went down right after service duty, it was really tiring man! But it was really fun!!

Went down with Ray, Yol & Fen to set up the place for the game, we were also setting up the 'banner' at the pit, but it was being destroy by the very uninvited guest named the 'RAIN"!! Boo!! I only realise that it was raining after i end my station! And i was praying real hard that God will stop the rain, but after i reach the pit, the rain got slightly heavier. Still we were confessing that the rain will stop! After a while, instead of getting lighter, it became heavy rain! ARgh!

We decided to stop our activity and go back to Downtown East, and was suppose to be all sisters go back, only brothers stay behind and pack, but somehow i was also behind with the brothers packing up the place. Haha.. Alright,i think it has been a long time since i was under the hot sorching sun then under the heavy rain! After packing and bringing in the things, the rain STOPPED!! Argh!!

Everything continued and thank God that the uninvited guest did not come back after that! We took lots of pictures and had simply lots of fun!! hmmz.. Not to forget, our dear leaders who make it happened!! And those who turn up to make it a fun one!!

my Reflection of 2007

wah!! Times flies! Now is already the end of 2007 and in about 2 days time we are about to enter into a brand new year! Its time for me to recap what i've achieve this year! A time of reflection! haha..

I still remember some very eventful things that happened during this year!! Like i quitted my previous job and joined a new company, my first time going on net, being a VOICELESS Echo 2, then Bravo 1, Hotel 2, Hotel 1 & Hotel 6. This are just some operations challenge. And of cos what also make me grow was the transfer for 4S5 to 4S2 then back to 4S5. haha.

I still remember that this year, i was very touched by a few people in EG. Like Van, Rach, Jayme and many more. Not to forget, Van the honey water you make for me to drink. Remember i never drink honey water before!! And it really touches me alot. Of cos the rest in many ways. This year is also a time of promotion for me. From an usher to helper to official helper to Team Leader. All thanks to those who believed in me and gave me the chance!!

This year I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY also, cos having my god-parents at church attending Christmas service, having Jamie, Weiling and many other more. you guys really made it! And come to think of it, i have obtained most of my goals this year!!

I believe this year is really an eventful year for both of us??! Hmmz.. From you being a single available pretty gal to being someone's wife in waiting!! haha.. Christmas DAY!!

This christmas was fantastic!! Haha.!! I'm extremely HAPPY!! Not because i had a good time celebrating my birthday, but it was because i got my god-parents that came for service as well as Jamie!! Yeah!! Daddy, mummy, thanks for waking up early to come all the way down to expo!! You guys are solid la!! haha. Jamie, thanks for the gift!! i'm super happy to see you come!

Haha!! A christmas is never fulfilled unless you did something you think it's super good! haha. and yes, because i got Andy daddy and Emily mummy that came! Wohoo! i'm super happy!! Come to think of it, i rather not serve and be with them. Thank God, Eugene had 2 runners for his service, So when i was not around, Xiao en can cover me for a while!! Phew! It was a fun time man! Though Service 6 was a little empty, but it was so good! Then the last service was super pack la! And guess what, we had a breakthrough of attendance! We had 51,900 people that turn up!

To speak the truth, as a log personnel cum usher, we were super tired, first to reach, last to leave. It was really tiring, but the thing that will make us forget all our tireness is that we had our record attendance and people get to know Christ,accepting Him as their personal Lord and Saviour! So i guess it was all worthwhile!

After packing up and stuffs, we went to pop the 'champagne' that Gaius they all bought. And took lots of pictures! It was just so awesome!! haha.. This Christmas though alot of thing we might have miss it, but i'm sure we had a good time serving!! yeah!! now Christmas is over, it's time for thanksgiving.

My Birthday!!

Finally!! Get to sit down and start to BLOG! haha.. Yes, i want to blog about my big day! Had a great time today!! Hmmz.. Went to work as usual, though it's my birthday, but i wont want to stay home and kind of waste time right. So everything was rather normal, my sis bought a birthday cake for me from dont know what cake shop, it was quite nice!! Yum yum!! ahaha*recommended by Bro Edmund*

Both my bosses came in office late, so was rather a peaceful day. My 2nd boss came in and wish me then told me that he would bring me out for lunch during the later of the day. So we went for lunch at Jack's place! Yum Yum! And know what, i felt so PS!! When my boss asked from the waitress a slice of cake and a candle. Then they serve with the candle and played the birthday song!! faint! Everyone was looking at our table, i felt like burying my head man! haha.

Anyway, it was a nice experience! Then back to office, cleared my stuffs and off i go to expo for duty!!

It was a little duh when people heard that i'm serving on my birthday! haha. I thought to myself, it was not the first time anyway. The service was good, everything went quite smoothly. Nothing much really happen. Pack up and close shop for the day. But before we close, i think our logis personnel are just so hahaha! Amazing!! They bought a log cake, and ya, saw my name on the cake! So nice of them! They kind of surprise me! had so many people celebrating my birthday together!

Alan hong, thanks ar, for spraying the crazy ribbon on from top to bottom! haha. But it was really a fun time! Dont have the pics now, all with Alex Yiu!

Amazing!! I have not blogged a single thing for the past 1 week. Haha. Hmmz.. Anyway, i have been real busy! Busy with the upcoming events! Christmas! Writing cards, buying gifts and wrapping it up was a real challenge for me man!

Anyway, yesterday was finally my company Dinner & Dance. Was not working so thought i could rest, but ended up sleeping at 5+ 6am, waking up at 7am to go down to support!! Argh!! Reach on time, started to do support and stuffs. Then went back home to get ready for the night. It was a super rush man!! Left Expo only at 230pm. Then reach home abt 4, get ready and went to do the necessary arrangements. Was only totally ready for the night at 6pm. Thank God My colleague came to pick me up. Yeah! Haha. REach the country club at like 7pm? Was that late? Hmmz. I dont think so. Then sitted down, Anyway, the night was alright.

But i remember that there are times that you wont be spared to do certain things. Hmmz.. We had 2 rounds of games. Books of record. Had all kind of things that the MC wanted. Was just sitting there quietly, and to realise that he wanted the lady that is the youngest. Hmmz.. I kind of stun! Haha. Then everyone looked at me. My boss was like, its you! Argh!! I was like bowing my head and pretend that i did not see anything!! But i wont be spared! haha.. Dragged to the front and just join in the fun. Hmmz..

Ya, ended the night with the lucky draw, drawn a $100 NTUC voucher! haha! Thank God! Went home and sleep!! tired!! Got to serve in the morning man!

just got home from the VERY advance Christmas celebration that we had as a subzone.. Hmmz.. Yes, i'm a little tired. But as promised to my beloved members that i will blog, so here i am, sitting on my chair, in front of my com, tying out the fun that i have today! haha, Alright, i sound a little dead. Hmmz..

Lets start from head to toe k!! Haha.. Yes, i rush down from WOODLANDS to BEDOK!! Yes, if you ask me how far, i'll tell you SUPER far. And is like your house is so near yet so far! But the christmas CG was really fun! Hmmz..

Met bird at Bedok because both of us were a little late. Rushed down from work! Then went to this condo called Bayshore Park. Alright, its a little ulu. Been there like twice including this time! ya, So took cab down. And hurried all the way. Phew, just so in time for everything! HAha.. So fun!! Played a very violent game i felt, though half the time i got no idea what were we playing!! BLeh!! Haha.. Had praise, but is more like singing Christmas Carol! So cool k! Is what i always like the most! Then had a candlelight worship! Thats very cool too! To only have the candlelights! haha. After Worship was a short word. And then off to fellowship time! I really had a great time fellowshipping with my members! Here comes the long awaited time!! The gift exchange! Haha.. And my so called angel is none other then Debbie Chan!! Again!! Last year was here, This year here again!! And she got me a super nice bag! Which 'WOWed' my whole CG. I felt! So blessed!! Thanks gal! Then after everything, we decided to leave that place. Hmmz.. We all had things on the next day. So home sweet home! But God is really training us man! HAha

We walked out from the funtion room and we went in circles for like 2 rounds, before we found that place! It was a super ulu place!! And after circle walking for like 2 rounds, we decided to ask the security guard!! haha!! So duh la! Faint!

Then went home!! Alright, Deb bought me a super nice bag!! ITs RED in colour!! Yeah!! haha. I post the pic another day. Eyes closing man!!

This few days the weather is just so arghhhh!! raining!! I love rain to only a certain extend! But not like now la! And the worse thing is.. That i hate to carry umbrella!! Thank God, everytime i leave my office for another place, the rain always stop!! Thank God!! haha..

Just came back from a meeting with Gaius, YW, Joyce, Melvin and WanXiu. Haha.. I wonder were we discussing or having fun more?! Faint! Ya, i think we crap alot during the dinner!!

Oh, just something random! Haha.. Joyce, WanXiu & myself have been promoted to be official Log 2!! PTL! Indeed, that promotion does not come from man alone, But God! Thank God for the promotion! Yeah!! (Treats are always welcome! ) haha.. Hmmz..

ALright, back to my week, i think i have a super PACK week! No time to do anything else le! Christmas planning needs to get in place, Christmas gift needs to get and much much more things to do! Mon: Visitation, and meeting the section welfare to do the Christmas gift for the section. Tue: Meeting Log personnels for Christmas to discuss. Wed: Attend a wake. Thurs: Work. Fri: CG. Sat: Go Svc. Sun: Duty! Wohoo!! So fun right! Indeed i cannot serve God without His strength! How am i going to do so many things at one go? Haha.. Yeah! But God's grace is sufficient for me! Amen! Hmmz.. Alright, i just wanted to post something. So this is like a random post. Got to sleep now. Eyes hurting. Mouth hurting. Sigh!! Soon head hurting too!! Argh!! Sleeping time!!

Dreaming for God!

Have been spending the past 1 weeks talking to my team ushers.. Hmmz.. Frankly speaking, when Ming told me about the team, i was not having alot of faith about it. But after getting to know them, i think they sure a nice bunch of people to be with!! haha..
Charmaine, though she is young, BUT she just got so much ermmmm.. ermm.. boldness! The boldness to dream and the boldness to tell people her dream! And for that i'm VERY proud of her! She is somehow God sent member to remind that there are things we need to re-dream and re-visualise! We cannot think that we cant make it or we'll never make it, but as long as we DARE to dream, God DARES to fulfil!

BREAKAWAY CAMP

Argh!! I hate this!! I called so many people and to realise that they are all away in this camp called BREAKAWAY CAMP!! Argh!! I want to be there too!! But i think my toe was injure at a wrong time la!! Argh!! I dont like it!! Nvm, God i know i wont be short-change! So i cant go for the camp, i'm gonna have something better! haha..

Promotion!!

Yeah!! After so long! Promotion came! HAha.. Ask me how i felt, i'm very happy and excited that i'm going on to another level with God and also have a brand new chapter in my walk with God as well as my ministry! haha. Yeah! How it came about? Hmmz.. Cool thing man!! Today is our first service starting at 9.30AM! Having our first service back in Jurong West! Wohoo!! So much things man! Yeah! So we had our usual leaders meeting in the morning. Thought that we were running out of time, so RJ wanted to cancel the general briefing. But Roger say he wants to brief all of us. So okay lo. Went out and gather the ushers.. So when Roger was briefing, most of the set holders were not there (i'm one of them!!), and its so not right la! Ya, anyway, when we were about to dismiss, Roger said,'oh ya.. Our group had a few leaders being promoted.' Yeah. Then he was reading out the names, and he went, the first one. Karami! Tan LiTing, etc.. Ya, after Ting was me! I was happy!! haha.. I mean yeah!! After so long! Though i was not expecting to be this year! Haha.. Hmmz.. Thank God for promotion! Indeed promotions does not come from man But God! And when we are faithful in little things, then we'll be given much! haha..

Hmmz.. Ya, and i really feel very blessed!! Knowing that a lot of people were very happy for me! Haha.. Yes! Thanks guys! Of cos my ACU!! and CU!! Who gave me alot of chances and opportunities to rise up to where i am today! Thanks Roger and Richie! And i really feel very honored, haha, though that 2 words that Richie wrote. It meant a lot to me! I felt! hehe..

Went for duty right after briefing. Only half an hour to door open!! Gosh! All the ICs were like quick quick!! haha Then Thank God! We manage to prepare the hall in half an hours time! Despite of the lack of manpower and ICs! Can you imagine, i got to serve Bravo with 12 ushers?! And i got to double up as an acu-pointer as well as a zone usher. Remove seats, fill seats! Haha.. Quite exciting though! And the best thing is i had a situation in my zone!! Argh!! Cannot take it!! Got to 'chu tong' our dear Lawrence to help!! haha.. Gosh, i was being blasted left right type! Argh! Then settled and service start!! Phew! haha.. During service, went to tell Roger about it! Wah! I cant imagine i got such a 'SOLID' ACU sia!! He can tell me 'tuo tuo yi shan'! I nearly fainted! And he told me not bad leh! First day promotion kana le! Then next time dont need worry le lor! haha.. yaya! Thanks wor Roger! haha.. Yeah, though i dont feel that i was a good Bravo 2, and i feel that i got alot more to change man!! God! help! hhaha.. After everything, went down to JW with EUgene to take a look at logis, while he went because he was suppose to deliver a comm-set down for next week! haha.. Then we went and at the same time,he was also waiting for Beatrice to end her meeting. So can go dinner. But i think we were so hungry, we decided to go over to the opp to buy food and share first! But before that, haha.. We make a trip over to buy bread for the leaders who were having meeting! haha.. So like breaking of bread! feeding the 5thousand! hahaha... Ya. After their meeting, we went to Holland V to eat. Eugene was still saying we'll all be too tired to go elsewhere to eat. But we were wrong! haha.. Yeah! Went to Holland V eat 'Zhi ca'! haha.. Not bad! Quite nice! ya, recommender was Mr Eugene Chee. So wanna ask, can go ask him! haha.. Then after dinner, Alex Yiu said he'll be coming to join us, and Beatrice was suggesting that we can go to a cafe to chill out. Somewhere with games will be better. Then we remembered that there was a cafe that also had games!It was the settlers cafe! Didnt really like that place. Haha.. But we still had lots of fun! Playing games! yes! Look at this exciting game that we played.

Alright, the pic revolution was not that good. Argh! Dont like! And i can tell you, we were so fearful that it will be our turn type! haha.. All of us were like, not us not us!! Very fun! Haha.. yes! And after which, Home sweet home!! This was my first time coming out and fellowship with the leaders! They are really like those 'gao gao zai shang'. haha.. Yes! But they are fun people afterall! Get to know them better! hahah...

Today my day is just so wrong!! aRgh!! Went to work, i was early! So much earlier, thought the day gonna be good! But i was very wrong man! Today is so call beginning of the month (for me) so it was really busy! And the BUSY is really argh!! I was all alone in the office handling whatever that suppose to be handled by 2 persons! And the very frustrating thing was nobody BOTHERS to OFFER their help!! CAn you imagine!?! When you are super desperate for help and nobody gives you a damn! Argh!! I seriously cant! Hmmz.. Anyway, ya, so i was so busy till i got to EAt and work at the same time! Worse still, people knows yet it seems like i deserve it! Argh!! When i saw that expression, i really nearly broke down!
And the thing was everyone gets to step out of that crazy 4walls (Office) while i got to stay in and face that cold block of wall! During lunch!! Best thing, knowing that i'm all alone, someone should stay behind and help, but that someone went out for a 3 hours lunch break, which i nearly cried out!! Argh!! Can someone save me of my frustrations!! Then when that someone came back, that someone didnt even bother to help as well!! That someone went to do something which i seriously dont think it's important at all! And end of the day, people said that this is a training for me! Come on! Training, i think its more like excuses then anything lor! Argh! That someone also then very on the dot leaves the office! Oh my gosh! I nearly went crazy!!

that was my anger, but there are so many disappointments that happened as well. But sigh.. I think God is just moulding me! When you love someone so much and you had a relatively high expectations of those people, when they dont meet your expectations, you feel hurt, angry, frustrated & a little sense of lost. Do you?! I dont know, but it was for me.. Something happened at the end of the day, which i thought it really disappoint me abit. But yet to think back, did i expect too much? And in the first place, does that person needs to meet my expectation? Hmm.. I mean, i seriously dont think so. but i always believe that no matter how busy you are, you'll still make time out for your loved ones right? Or even your friends? Hmmz.. I guess today is just so not right.

Then anyway, was so frustrated, went to Orchard and look for my sis. Wanted to go mind's cafe for dinner, but my legs were hurting after long-standing and walking, decided to just settle down in any cafe and eat. BUT the prob is most of the cafe and restaurant was so pack and the queue was super long, i gave up, wanted to just settle down at any foodcourt, but my sis was a little unwilling, so decided to walk down a little further to Cine and eat. Since my leg was already hurting, might as well let it hurt a little more. So went down. Then to realise that Hongkong cafe was also full but was better compared to other places! Argh! So decided to just settle down there! And i just wonder, devil hated me so much that i cant even have a peaceful dinneR!! Argh!! Cant imagine that!
something bad happen as well! Argh!! ROAR! While i was queuing for a seat, there were people behind me as well. Then at first i was asked if i wanted to share seats, which i was not willing at all, i rejected that seat. So we told the waitress that we rather wait for a sofa seat. I'm sorry, but my sis and i are just that fussy. Haha.. So went back to the queue and waited. the next thing i saw was a couple behind us got the sofa seat before us! Man, i think the poor manager was just so unlucky to meet me today! I was in a horrible terrible mood and such thing got to happen! I'm sorry, but i just need to explode, so i told the manager, how come i'm not given that seat when i was here earlier! The lady could not give me an answer, and i was just so angry till no words could come out of my mouth! Then finally, calm myself down, i asked the manager' how could you compensate me of my time lost?'
The 2 managers got a shock, does not know how to answer, it was not the answer that i wanted. But yet i cant do much! So she said that erm.. Dont be angry, i'll give you a 10% discount later. I was like, THis IS NOT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR! I told my sis, i wanted to ask them to give me a answer that i'll be happy. But.. Ya, then after half hour of waiting! Finally, got the seat i wanted! Argh! Went ahead to order food! Super famished! And again!! My sis food was a wrong order!! ARgh!! I seriously cannot imagine how many bad things got to happen in one day man! Then i told my sis, i give up, lets just eat whatever we are given!

After dinner, we decided to go to Heeren and shop about. Bought 2 pieces of clothes from Skin!! Haha.. Love it! And the price was NICE as well!! Yeah!! Thanks to Deb who were so patience in serving!! haha..
Then came back, my dad said get some food back, my sis decided to buy mac back, and i told my sis that change the items. And i just really nearly fainted right on the spot! When we were at the busstop that she did not change, reason? She did not hear! argh!! Just cant imagine it!!

Anyway, Thank God for the 10% discount afterall and of cos my shopping!! Though my mood was not that fantastic, but still thank God, it was Him who created all these for me! Sigh.. Just cant imagine, got to sleep now! Update again!
