THe Unsung Heroes of Asia Conference
To all ushers,
Below is a compliment letter written by one of the CHEC staff to us! Thumbs up to all ushers who served throughout! Good job done!
I just want to say Big Thank You to all the ushers who have worked extremely hard during the Conference. Throughout the 5 days, my encounters with the ushers have been really pleasant. They are ever so helpful, always smiling, despite the difficult crowd at times.
There was once while I was queuing to enter the hall, when a group of upset foreign delegates were asking to be let into the hall. The door usher was a petite, young girl of not more than 18. She was pleasant yet firm, and was not daunted by the large crowd. Her gentle words of assurance and tact in handling the adults displayed much wisdom. I was really impressed.
Throughout the 5 days, more than the messages, the ushers' attitude truly impacted me. There are frequent incidences when ushers were reprimanded by members, delegates, greeters, yet they tried their best to be pleasant while getting their job done. I'm touched by the ushers, many of them are so young, their servanthood is really commendable.
We showcased many remarkable talents and programmes on stage during the Asia conference, but the church also showcased a great people with great attitude off-stage. That's why I sincerely think they are the unsung heroes. I would like to thank all of them for going the extra mile, I'm sure many echoed my sentiments.
Thank you ushers for going the extra mile, the conference was a remarkable success and a pleasant experience for attendees like me because of your hard word.

HOGC ushers
I'm gonna write something for HOGC ushers, wanted to include them in the previous 2 posts, but somehow i forgotten!! Roar! Anyway, i was given the opportunity to serve with them during this Asia conference! Trust me man! They are super cool la!
Get to serve with 2 of their Chief Ushers, Jian Hong, Yiling and Jian ming! I seriously think they are super cool!! haha! They are young and always portraying that can make it attitude!! Though they were tasked with things that i guess they nv done before, but they are always so ready to learn!! haha! So i seriously enjoyed serving with them!! I hope to get the chance to serve with them again in time to come!

Asia Conference is now over. Today is the sabbath!! Haha! Come to think of it. I was in expo since last sat, 15nov. And since then, everyday i was in expo. Unknowingly, i'm there for 9days! man!! i cannot believe it! I think i could have camp down there! To save all my transport man! haha!
And guess what, i was so tired to the extent that i slept till 5pm today! From last night 2.45am to 5pm! Wohoo! it was a good rest man! After the good 9-10days of AC. The end of Asia ConferencE!
Wohoo!! *scream! clap! jump! Flip! Shouts!*
AC HAS FINALLY ENDED!! haha!
Yes! We have finally come to the last day of ASIA CONFERENCE! IT was a fun time serving, enjoying the Presence of God! I mean though i was hardly in the hall, i was either in external or in the overflow hall. But like what someone reminded me (cant remember who) the Presence of God is the same everywhere. Which i think this is true. So even in Hall 7 the Presence blow me away! haha..
Anyway, the last night was really cool!! No words can describe the whole conference!! People jus come and receive a new transformation!! It was really cool to and exciting to see people getting a new touched from heaven.
This whole Conference its more then just meeting God, we also get to meet alot of delegates from overseas and also members that we hardly come across. Ushers that we hardly serve with each other. It was a good time of fellowship and a good time of 'catching up'!
Hmmz.. thank God for the strength for serving effortlessly!
Kudos to all the different ministries who put in so much effort to plan and serve... Waking up early to reach expo and last to leave. Really thank you!! Esp to all ushers!! thank you for serving so much!
Of cos not to forget to Thank God for making the whole conference possible! Without Him, we are not able to run this event! Without Him the plans that we all planned will never come to pass! And things wont run the way we thought! And also without Him, lives will not be changed, people will not be touched!

Asia conference day 2
Today is only the second day of the conference! Things are moving so well now! Though along the way there are alot of changes but things still turn out well. We are not perfect, but at least we are all improving!!
And i am so proud!! hahaa!! I get to attend Pst Kong's elective on church growth!! It was super good!! Though it was kind of not very useful to me, cos i am not starting my own church, but it was good cos pastor really show the leaders what are the things that are very important to a church growth!! It can also be applied to a normal company!
After service, went to help out along the way. Presence of God was still as powerful!! wah!! I was super shiok!! Soaking in the presence myself!! haha!! Wohoo!! But somehow i always ended up at home only at 2am? sigh... Got to catch some sleep!

Asia Conference Day 1
Today!! The day that everyone has been waiting for!! ASIA CONFERENCE 2008!! Wooooo!! hahaha
Today is the day where after so many hard time of having practices, the POM if finally going on stage!! Ask me are the rehearsals tiring? YES!! It was super tiring!! All the time after duty, got to stay back till so late. All the disguisting timing! Sigh... But all happen for the glory of God! haha! Yes!! So finally, we went up stage, everything went so smoothly, things were in our control! And our people are so cool!! They are the coolest ushers we ever come across!
Hmmz.. Today the hall was jammed pack! All the way to overflow!! People were jus coming from all over the world attending this conference!! haha! I was really thankful that we got the chance to be the participator for this event! At least we dare to tell people, we contributed!

Asia Conference eve
Asia conference the long awaited moment has finally arrived!! The POM, the uncountable duties, sleepless nights, and many other things. But it was all worth it! Really though alot of things happened during this season, but the Presence of God was really strong!
Though i hardly get to hear the Word of God, but it the worship that really touches me! I remember once pastor said, its not the message that transform a member, but its the Presence of God that transform us! The message jus simply give us more information. But yet this season was really a season that lives are being changed, love and passion being renewed. Friends getting saved! Wohoo!! It was really exciting! I cant wait for it!

CMI!!! BAD Day!
Today was jus a day i really feel so CMI!!! Argh!! i hate people tell me one thing, the next moment say i assume!! i really hate that! And because info was not make known to me, then everyone jus concluded its my fault!! Whats this! And it affect the way people looking at me, because it seems that i am not a person of my word. Esp during this season of Asia Conference!
If you dont have the info, then dont tell me la. N0w it become my fault! I cannot believe such a thing can happen la. From someone i never thought before. But what can i say. You complete the story for me. And i jus got to flow right.

Shifting of Office!
Man!! Last week was the 1 week of morning prayer meeting! And i fell sick!! Roar!! Went for only 1 day!! Sigh! I cant believe it!! Worse! My boss was shifting house = office also shifting!! From one end of Singapore to the other end of it! Sigh!! Anyway, I thank God for Van, Aaron, Alvin who came and accompanied for 2 days. Otherwise i seriously dont know what to do and how to do!!

obey is better than sacrifice
Oh Man! How could i forgotten to blog about pledging weekend last week!! Haha! Yeap! I think this year, it was another year of breakthrough man! I got the amount 1 week before the pledging week, I was seriously not super excited, cos it was not a small amount. But surely, it was something that stretches my faith! Jus few days back, my sister was jus sharing with me that we should pledge something that is we need to pledge something that is realistic. So that sentence was stuck in my mind for a week. Till sat night. While i was preparing, i thought maybe i should drop the amount a little. When i can fulfil then i give more. So when i was about to write, God spoke. Sighhh. Sometimes, you wonder if its good or bad. ahaha!
God was like why is your faith so small?! I was like... HUH!?!? Small?! God you must be kidding man! And i told God, BUT the amount was too big! I dont think i can. Then God challenge me, if last year He could make miracles happened, what is this year. I was like... Alright. God, you come and spoke to me at 3am in the morning, what more can i not say but to trust and believe in You. So i wrote that AMOUNT. Its was this BIG when i saw that amount. Nearly fainted though! hahaha
When i gave, on stage, i nearly cried man!! That was really a sacrificial amount! And Thank God i was obedient! And the Holy Spirit reminded me a verse:
1 Samuel 15:22
So Samuel said: "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
God was like why is your faith so small?! I was like... HUH!?!? Small?! God you must be kidding man! And i told God, BUT the amount was too big! I dont think i can. Then God challenge me, if last year He could make miracles happened, what is this year. I was like... Alright. Tan Sijia
Jus came back from TAN SIJIA'S 21st Birthday party. Man!! I cannot believe it! That i went down to bugis jus to get her the balloons as it was her favorite! Haha!! Hmmz... Duty was jus average. I thought i could have done better. But ya! Hmmz..
Now my brain is not working, so whatever i am typing is alittle disorganise. sighhh.. this is what all the flu bug has make me!! Roar! God heal me!!

Jus had our first CG meeting today. Hmmz.. Our CG identity is N450!! Wohoo!! Hmmz.. Rather sad for the disband but i know everything happen for a purpose. So now being this new CG, i think my members very cool! They are so fun!! I really love all of them man! Though many are still new to me! haha!
Oh. And before CG, i cant believe myself! I spend 10mins in AMK Hub Mondo. And final result? I got 2 PAIRS of heels!! Wohoo!! I was super excited!! haha! I was so high that my members thought i was crazy!! Haha! Yes, poor Agnes hear me saying this for upteen times that she nearly tape my mouth from telling people! hAha! And the best thing is, Agnes also bought 1 pair of heels! hahaha!! Cool!! That happened after my phone call to her telling her how power am i to get 2 pairs of heels in 10mins! haha!
Anyway, after CG, i went down to expo to count stones and attend service. Pst Kong had a great message and its really impacting! Challenging us to give our best to God to build His house! Truely, when we build God's house, He will build our house! I'm believing that man! ahha.
Yea, but the saddest thing now is NAT IS SICK AGAIN!! ITS SUPER IRRITATING!! I really hate to be sick! I was only recovered for 2 weeks and here i am, falling sick again! Thats so arghhh!! But i shall confess that I AM HEALED!! BY HIS STRIPES! AMEN! Yes!! hahah! Alright, got to sleep soon!!
